Five O'Clock Shadow are...
Eugene
Lead guitar and vocals
The founding member of the band,he started Five O'Clock Shadow
around 2007 and is the groups lead guitarist, bandleader and shares
lead vocals with Gavin and Simon.
Capable of intricate acoustic guitar through to searing electric
solos ,Eugene has won awards in both New Zealand and Australia for
his guitar playing!
He handles the bookings and meets all the bride and grooms and
clients to plan an awesome music schedule and does most of
the MC work on the night.
Gavin:
keyboards, lead vocals
Gav brings amazing keyboard / piano skills and another great
voice to the band along with some new modern songs and some
classics too. From the cruisy sounds of Ed Sheeran,Elton John, Jack
Johnson and more in the early stages of a wedding or function
through to amazing solos where his hands become a blur he is a real
asset to any band.
Joanna
DJ, backing vocals,sound
As well as being an experienced DJ,Jo sings
backup vocals and provides extra sounds and rhythmns. In control of
the technical side of things she runs the mixing board,backing
beats, computers,lighting and effects thus leaving the lads free to
rock out! She has also been known to safley pilot the Shadow van
home after many a late gig!
